Service Plans

When it's cold outside, you can count on McKusick Petroleum to keep the heat on, and to get you back in the warmth when something goes wrong. Our Deluxe and Deluxe “PLUS” Service Plans give you piece-of-mind on those cold winter nights.

Service can be affordable. Our Deluxe plan is $225, and our Plus plan just $275. Take a look at the details below. As always, if you have any questions, please give us a call.

Deluxe Plan

Annual Tune & Service

McKusick Petroleum Company will provide:

  • Testing, cleaning and adjustment of your heating plant.
  • Check and Adjust:
    • Fuel Pump
    • Nozzle & Ignition System
    • Test Controls
    • Replace Air & Fuel Filter Cartridges
    • Lubricate all motors
    • Visually check chimney
    • Test fire burner completing a full efficiency test

Labor

McKusick Petroleum Company will provide:

  • All labor required for Service Calls on your heating plant that involves the following parts, when completed during regular working hours (7 a.m. to 5 p.m.) Monday to Friday*
  • Service required at any other time must be a result of failure resulting in a
    “NO HEAT SITUATION” to be covered by this agreement*.
  • We will cover your oil fired water heater burner and controls for an additional fee.

Conditions

  1. McKusick Petroleum Company reserves the right to inspect your heating system before issuing the agreement.
  2. Solid Fuel Heating Systems and associated parts are NOT covered by this agreement.
  3. McKusick Petroleum Company cannot be responsible for parts no longer available due to obsolescence.
  4. Parts must have become defective through normal usage. This agreement does NOT protect against damage caused by Flood, Fire, Lightning, Power Failure, Freeze-up, Acts of God or switches found off, blown fuses or breakers.
  5. Although we are ready and able to provide Emergency Service, we can NOT be held liable for any delay or failure to supply service or parts because of conditions beyond our control.
  6. We will honor this agreement if you use McKusick Petroleum Company as your sole supplier for fuel oil and service.
  7. Benefits are limited to one oil burning appliance per agreement.
  8. Payment is due within 30 days of billing. If payment is not received within 30 days or budget arrangements made, this agreement is immediately cancelled.
  9. All agreements expire the following April 30th.
  10. Any Water Handling Components are NOT covered by this agreement including zone valves, flow controls, expansion tanks, air purgers, pipes, relief valves, bearing assemblies, etc. (circulator motors are covered).
  11. This agreement may not be transferred without authorization and re-inspection by McKusick Petroleum Company.
  12. This agreement does not cover the repair or replacement of the fuel tank, oil lines, piping, gauges, and related items between the storage tank and the oil burner.
  13. In no event shall McKusick Petroleum Company be liable for any consequential damage or injury including environmental damage, arising out of any leakage or spillage from any oil lines, oil tanks or any other part of your heating system.

  • McKusick Petroleum Company will at its’ discretion, repair or replace any and/or all parts of the boiler/furnace.

  9. All agreements expire the following April 30th.
  10. This agreement is conditional upon the use of only fuels recommended by MCKUSICK PETROLEUM COMPANY.
  11. This agreement applicable up to a maximum firing rate of 2.5 gph.
  12. Oil tanks are NOT included in this agreement.
  13. Service repair due to insufficient oil when NOT on automatic delivery service will be chargeable at standard rates.
  14. All equipment must meet state codes prior to coverage.
  15. MCKISUICK PETROLEUM COMPANY will NOT be responsible for discovery or removal of asbestos.
  16. Flushing of domestic hot water coils is NOT covered under this agreement.
  17. This agreement may NOT be transferred without authorization and re-inspection by MCKUSICK PETROLEUM COMPANY.
  18. This agreement does NOT cover the repair or replacement of the fuel tank, oil lines, piping, gauges, and related items between the storage tank and the oil burner.
  19. In no event shall MCKUSICK PETROLEUM COMPANY be liable for any consequential damage or injury including environmental damage, arising out of any leakage or spillage from any oil lines, oil tanks or any other part of your heating system.
  20. Service required due to failure of adequate fuel supply or your delivery being held due to unsatisfactory credit status is NOT covered under this agreement, except for automatic deliveries.
  21. The following items are NOT covered under this agreement: hydronic antifreeze, power venters, direct vent chimneys, domestic radiant heat pipes and controls, and coils.
